Course Details
Level 1: time split equally between workshop practical (block, brick and cavity walling, H&S, construction technology, communication, mixing materials, setting out) and theory. Level 2: cavity walls with windows and door openings, solid walls, thin joint masonry, setting out masonry structures. Delivered in the £38m Construction and Engineering Centre dedicated to construction, brickwork, carpentry and electrical installation.

Entry Requirements
Level 1: positive attitude towards learning; typically studied a GCSE programme or working at Level 1; applicants without formal qualifications invited to initial assessment in English and maths (per course page). Level 2: Level 1 Bricklaying or relevant experience and skills (per course page).
