Course Details
Level 2: exploring health, safety and welfare in construction; construction drawing techniques; set out masonry structures; erect masonry structures; sustainability in the construction industry; English and Maths if not achieved at grade 4. Over 300 hours off-site work experience. Purpose-built construction workshop. Employer links include Beal Homes, British Gypsum, Hobson and Porter, Ibstock, MKM Building Supplies and Persimmon Homes.
Duration
Level 2 full-time: 1 year. Level 2 Bricklayer Apprenticeship: 2.5 years.
Entry Requirements
Level 2: You will need to complete the Level 1 Bricklaying qualification before commencing this course. Expected to secure work experience prior to commencing if possible.
