Bricklaying Level 2 Diploma; Introduction to Brickwork (hobby/short course)
Course Details
Level 2 Diploma in Brickwork developed for delivery in a training environment using simulated conditions. Assessment: individual unit multi-choice tests, summative end exam (multi-choice), continual practical assessment with a final test piece set by CAA. Introduction to Brickwork: theory of brickwork, workplace safety, PPE, setting out of masonry structures, workshop sessions spreading mortar and laying bricks.
Duration
Level 2: 1 academic year. Introduction to Brickwork: short course.
Entry Requirements
Level 2: You will have needed to complete the Level 1 course to progress. Introduction to Brickwork: no formal entry requirements; interest in brickwork recommended; steel toe-capped boots required.
