Course Details
Level 2 Technical Diploma: principles of construction, building cavity walls, solid walls and piers, H&S, constructing basic arches, setting out buildings. Intermediate apprenticeship: block weeks at Construction Centre; up to 24 months. Craft Bricklayer apprenticeship: 18 months; Construction Centre and Falcon House. Trowel Occupations NVQ: workplace qualification for those with at least five years' industry experience; fee £1,500; 70 weeks.

Technical Diploma: 1 year. Intermediate apprenticeship: up to 24 Months. Craft Bricklayer apprenticeship: 18 Months. Trowel Occupations NVQ: 70 Weeks.
Entry Requirements
Technical Diploma: one grade 4 or above in either GCSE English or Maths and a grade 2 in either GCSE English or Maths; study GCSE English or Maths alongside if you don't yet have grade 4. Apprenticeships: as a guide GCSE grade 4 in English and Maths (employer-dependent). Trowel Occupations: aged 19 or over; employed in construction; GCSE Maths and English preferably grade 4 (C) or above; initial assessment.
