Course Details
Level 1 units: health, safety and welfare in construction; technical information, quantities and communication; construction technology; construct block walling; construct brick walling; construct cavity walling; setting out for basic masonry structures; mix construction materials. Level 2 covers arches and openings, various types of walling, storage of materials, erect and dismantle basic working platforms, brick and block work walling, set out basic buildings, construct walling detail, signalling for the movement of loads. Training in dedicated bricklaying workshop at Skills Academy for Construction.

Level 1 and Level 2: 1 Year
Entry Requirements
Level 1: Two GCSE grades at 3 or above, ideally including maths and English, or equivalent. Level 2: You must have a full Level 1 qualification in a relevant area.
