Bricklaying - Pre-Apprenticeship: NQ (Level 5) / NQ Construction Pre-App Brickwork SCQF 5
Course Details
Hands-on skills for a bricklayer apprentice in purpose-built workshops. Bricklaying fundamentals (half-brick, one-brick, and cavity wall construction); block walling; simple arch construction; decorative brickwork; construction occupation practices; ICT and employability; health & safety awareness supporting future CSCS testing. It is expected that Brickwork courses will run at East-End Campus; however, they may need to run from the Springburn Campus.

1 Year - 2.5 Days p/w
Entry Requirements
No formal qualifications required. Genuine interest in bricklaying or construction trades; motivation to progress to an apprenticeship; willingness to work safely indoors and outdoors. Must be 16 years old at the start of the course. If you have already completed an NQ Construction Pre-Apprenticeship course, you are not eligible to apply.
