Bricklaying Level 3 – Apprenticeship (City & Guilds Construction); Bricklaying for Beginners / Get Started in Bricklaying (Entry Level, part-time)
Course Details
Level 3 City & Guilds Construction in Bricklaying apprenticeship designed for work-based learners, covering traditional, new and pre-1919 buildings and emerging technologies. English or Welsh medium. Beginners evening/part-time course covers mortar mixing, brick cutting and laying, stretcher/header/English bonds, and basic brickwork calculations. Jubilee Court is home to the college’s construction courses including brickwork.
Duration
Apprenticeship: three years. Beginners: 10 weeks.
Entry Requirements
Apprenticeship: must be employed as an apprentice; GCSE grade A*-D in Mathematics and English Language (alternative qualifications can be discussed). Beginners: no formal entry requirements.
