Basic skills and knowledge involved in bricklaying. Units: principles of building construction, information and communication; health, safety and welfare in construction; carry out blocklaying, bricklaying and cavity walling activities; contribute to setting out and building of masonry structures up to DPC. Mixture of theory and practical. Progression to City & Guilds Level 2 Bricklaying Diploma or an apprenticeship.
