Course Details
Level 1 Diploma in Bricklaying is predominantly practical in college workshops. Level 2 apprenticeship (code G30P190) leads to Institute for Apprenticeships completion certificate and City & Guilds Level 2 Bricklaying; EPA includes 2-day practical test, knowledge test and end assessment interview. Evening Level 2 Diploma in purpose-built specialist workshop.
Duration
Level 1 Diploma: 1 year (per course page). Apprenticeship Level 2: 24-30 months (per course page). Evening Level 2 Diploma: 1 year part time (per course page).
Entry Requirements
Apprenticeship: suitable employment on or prior to starting; appropriate maths and English assessed prior to start; Level 1 for a Level 2 apprenticeship must be achieved before EPA; relevant Level 1 qualification in Brickwork or 12 months plus relevant work experience (per apprenticeship page). Evening L2 Diploma: successful completion of a suitable Level 1 (e.g. C&G Level 1 Diploma in Bricklaying) or part-time Intermediate Bricklaying, or suitable experience/aptitude with practical test (per evening page).

Level 1: Additional Costs £250.00 for 16-18 who qualify for funding; 19+ pay this charge and possibly tuition and exam fees (per Level 1 page).
