Course Details
2026/27 Construction Skills Diploma Level 1 (OSC Pathway, code P00057) covers hand-skills and practical tasks in bricklaying, plastering, carpentry and joinery, and painting and decorating, plus health and safety and introduction to the construction industry. Apprenticeship standards list Bricklayer Intermediate Level 2 and Craft Bricklayer Level 3 under build environment and onsite construction.

Entry Requirements
Construction Skills Diploma Level 1: one reference; GCSE English and maths at grade 2 or above plus two further GCSEs at grade 2 or above including a design or technology-based subject; 90% attendance at last place of study desirable (per course page).
