Course Details

Level 2: set out masonry structures, construct masonry cladding, build cavity walling forming masonry structures, form solid walling incorporating isolated and attached piers. Course is 20% theory and 80% practical. Level 1 develops and practises skills required for employment and/or career progression in bricklaying.

Duration

Level 2: 35 weeks, 02/09/2026-02/07/2027. Level 1: 35 weeks, 07/09/2026-25/06/2027.

Entry Requirements

Level 2: 4 GCSEs D-F or 3-2; relevant Level 1 qualification with Merit or above; relevant industry experience to Level 1 or above. Level 1: 3 GCSE D-G or 3-1.
