Course Details
City and Guilds Level 2 Bricklaying is a practical one-year full-time programme covering brick and block walling, arch work, pointing and setting out buildings. Assessment includes two online examinations and a portfolio of practical work.

Level 2 Diploma: 1 year (Start 01/09/2026 End 02/07/2027 per course page)
Entry Requirements
Level 2 Diploma: minimum of 3 GCSEs at grades 2 or above including English and Maths; Grade 3 English Language GCSE or L1 Functional Skill English; Grade 3 Maths GCSE or L1 Functional Skill Maths. Designed for students who have achieved Level 1 Bricklaying (or equivalent). Apprenticeship: individual employers set selection criteria; most candidates will have Level 1 Maths and English.
