Course Details
Using bricks to create walls and chimneys and decorative stone structures like archways; repairing and refurbishing old brickwork; reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings. Units include Set Out Masonry Structures; Construct Masonry Cladding; Construct Thin Joint Masonry. Assessment via oral questioning, assignments, written tests and observation of practical performance. Industry visitors include Tolent Living, Persimmon Homes, Sir Robert McAlpine, Robertsons Construction.
