Course Details
Focused brickwork skills at City and Guilds Level; City and Guilds level decided according to suitability of applicants. Mostly practical workshop and project areas plus mandatory theory; possible blended learning off campus; employer visits and work placements for students who excel.
Duration
36 weeks (Construction - Brickwork and Pre-Apprentice). November infill courses: 24 weeks.
Entry Requirements
Construction - Brickwork: highly sought-after progression from pre-apprentice suite. Direct applicants who are not current students must be 18 by end of September 2026 and have at least one National 5 in Design & Manufacture, Graphic Communication, Practical Metalworking or Practical Woodworking; or Level 1 City and Guilds (Pre-Apprentice suite) Construction; or 2 years proven industry or relevant employment history. Interview may include aptitude assessment.
