Level 1: principles of building construction; setting out and building masonry structures to DPC; blocklaying; bricklaying; cavity walling; health, safety and welfare. Level 2 at Stephenson Road campus, part of Basildon College, in realistic workshops.

Entry Requirements
Level 1: Entry Level 3 qualification or GCSEs x 2 at grade 2/E in MATHS or ENGLISH or Level 1 Certificate in Construction Skills; interview; transition event (per course page). Level 2: completion of Bricklaying Level 1 Diploma plus GCSEs x2 at grade 2 in maths and English; interview (per course page).
