Level 2 Bricklaying (full time, progression only); Level 2 Bricklayer Apprenticeship
Course Details
Level 2 full-time: advanced techniques, reading blueprints, setting out foundations, brick patterns; trips, guest speakers, work placement. Apprenticeship: lay bricks, blocks and other components; construct and repair walls, foundations, partitions, arches; radial and battered brickwork, feature and reinforced brickwork, fireplaces and chimneys.
Duration
Full-time Level 2: 1 Year. Apprenticeship: 24-27 Months.
Entry Requirements
Full-time Level 2: relevant Level 1 qualification and positive progress towards GCSE English and maths; designed for young people aged 16-18 (or up to 24 with EHCP). Apprenticeship: relevant employment; interview and assessment; GCSE English and maths grade 4/C or above (or Level 2 functional skills) preferred.
