Course Details

16-18 bricklaying courses prepare learners for a career in a sector with a shortage of qualified bricklayers in the Liverpool City Region. Adults: Award in Bricklaying Level 1 plus more substantial Level 1, 2 and 3 qualifications. Apprenticeship: health and safety, customer service, buildings, energy efficiency, materials, alternative construction techniques; EPA with knowledge test, skills test and oral questions.

Duration

Apprenticeship typical duration: 24 months, plus 3 months for End Point Assessment.

Entry Requirements

Apprenticeship: initial assessments in Maths and English; comprehensive skills scan. Level 2 apprenticeship requires evidence of minimum Level 1 in Maths and English prior to EPA Gateway.
