Level 1 Bricklaying (full-time vocational); Level 2 Bricklaying (full-time vocational)
Course Details
Level 1 modules include constructing half-brick walling; introduction to health and safety in construction; constructing block walling; constructing half-brick return corners; constructing cavity walls in brickwork and blockwork; constructing one brick walls. Level 2 units include principles of construction; building cavity walls; building solid walls and piers; constructing basic arches; setting out buildings. PPE required for practical workshop sessions.

1 Year (Level 1 and Level 2)
Entry Requirements
Level 1: No formal entry requirements. Level 2: 2 GCSEs at grade 4-9 including Maths and English, or a relevant Level 1 qualification.

FEES & FUNDING
16-18: Free. Learners provide own stationery; PPE must be provided (college directs to a supplier). Opportunity to take part in trips and visits.
