Course Details
Level 2 Technical Diploma: advanced bricklaying techniques, construction methods, technical drawing interpretation, H&S, professional working practices; purpose-built workshops and outdoor construction areas; Construction Career Excellence Hub. Apprenticeship: cavity walls, building to gauge and line, joint walling, wall ties, DPCs, cavity trays, weep holes, decorative panels, setting out complex structures, projecting brickwork; Blue skilled worker CSCS card on completion.
Duration
Technical Diploma listed as 20 Weeks for September 2026 option and 1 Year for September 2027 option (per course page). Apprenticeship: 24 Months (code APP000180P).
Entry Requirements
Technical Diploma: Level 1 Bricklaying qualification; GCSEs at grades 9–3 including English and maths; genuine interest in construction. Apprenticeship: no formal qualifications required but assessed to ensure you can complete English and maths qualifications.
