Course Details
Level 1 Diploma for school leavers new to bricklaying or construction, developing basic practical skills. Level 2 Extended Technical Occupational Entry for Bricklaying (Diploma), NOCN, continuation from Level 1. Units include carry out safe working practices in construction; knowledge of information, quantities and communicating with others; knowledge of building methods and construction technology; know how to build cavity walling forming masonry structures; build cavity walling forming masonry structures and a practical assignment. Each construction trade has its own workshop at Pagefield.

Entry Requirements
Level 2 (National Careers Service listing): A minimum of 5 GCSE subjects graded 9-3 or equivalent including maths or English.
